Its good to be Dan Marino. Besides being the greatest quaterback ever (according to this lifetime DolFan), #13 is selling his home in Weston for $15,9 million. The Mediterranean style home is 19,500 square feet with 10 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms on over 4 acres.
How cool would it be to buy Marino's house? How cool would it be to have $15.9 million?
Its hard to believe but Dan and his wife Clarie purchased the home for less than $400,000 in 1994. Even if they spent another $5-10 million over the years "fixing it up", that's still a $5-10 million profit in 12 years. Even their real estate agent could make over $750,000 on the deal.
You can see a map of his neighborhood and house values on Zillow.
I'm working on getting some photos of the property.
